Many children between the ages of 2 and 16 have known nothing but war. They’ve never been to school. Psychological and literal scars abound. Unemployment is running somewhere around eighty percent.

Checkpoints and machine guns are plentiful. No electricity. No running water. Hunger is common. Political instability remains.

There is a desperation that is hard to communicate. Words can’t really describe it. Yet we know that God is working in Liberia.

The First Baptist Church: Pastor Johnson, Pastor Koffa, Mrs. Taylor, and Mrs Serena helped them when they could during the war and are now a daily source of support and assistance. One of Pastor Johnson’s adopted sons visits the orphanage daily and teaches the children the Bible and songs. Please pray about this, even if you can’t support it financially. It needs our prayers. The Children need clothing, food, and shelter. Pray!
